History

 ​​The  James Foundation for the Advancement of Christianity was established  for the sole purpose of promoting the lessons taught by our Lord Jesus  Christ to all. Promoting the love for one another, the respect and care  for one another and realizing that we are all one in the eyes of God.
The  James Foundation believes that the best way to promote this is by  sharing the many events throughout the country with those not fortunate  enough to participate because of either being bedridden, militarily  deployed, disable or weather and distance restricted.

 The seed of this foundation was first planted  in 2001 when the first Sunrise Mass at The Deering Estate in Miami,  Florida was held. An idea that was born after the founder visited the  site where the Miracle of Multiplication occurred in Holy Land. Once  there, he realized that he had a venue very similar in his backyard and  what better way to Celebrate the Glorious defeat over sin and death with  the Triumphant Rising of Our Lord than to share with the community and  nourish them with the words of Salvation. It did not take long before  this particular event grew into a tradition, not only in the community,  but spread throughout the state with worshippers coming from as far as  Tampa, Ft. Myers, Orlando and Jacksonville including visitors from other  states such as Texas and now, through the power of the internet, being  able to reach those far away so they too can enjoy the Celebration of  Easter and witness the Rising of our Lord as the Sun Rises in a majestic  setting created by God’s own hand.
